Happy Day Two of my week of The Happiness Project! Yesterday I wrote about what happiness is to me; today I decided to make a list of some of the things that made me happy during my day. As I mentioned in my last post, happiness can be found in lots of small moments. Even simply acknowledging the things that made me happy through writing this list brought me happiness.

Today it rained a lot, which made me happy. I love gloomy grey skies and pouring rain, and I love that I am able to find happiness in them. Here are some of other the things that made me feel happy today:

  • wearing the same sweater as 3 of my best friends (it’s a school sweater, so that’s why we all have it, haha!)
  • writing a slam poem in French class
  • laughing at funny YouTube videos
  • looking outside and seeing pouring rain
  • having a huge turn out to today’s Student Council meeting and getting into the event-planning swing
  • thinking about the fact that I am going to a Taylor Swift concert this weekend (!!!)
  • reading, and responding to, comments on my post from yesterday
  • Google’s adorable logo, celebrating the discovery of water on Mars
  • finding a penny on the ground (but forgetting to pick it up)
  • listening to spoken word performances
  • listening to music
  • writing
  • finishing my homework
  • petting my cat
  • reading blog posts and chatting with blog friends

That’s it for me! This was a short post, but the whole point of The Happiness Project is to spread happiness throughout the blogosphere so hopefully I’ve done that. Let me know what made you happy today in the comments, and don’t forget to check out Sydney’s blog because she’s the one who organized this awesome project!
